this is creative, i thought like when pizzaface caught us it would put us into a cutscene which it's just the game over animation except you cant move your cursor cause it gets locked in place and when the times up text gets close enough that's when it should actually shut your PC down
What if you added a way to go to laps 2 and 3 while PizzaFace is still chasing you, and what if you added the “Times up” with the “Your fat ass slows you down” playing before shutting down the application and/or the computer?
You can still go to Lap 2/3 even when Pizza Time is over. Select Pizza Timer from the taskbar to focus the Window, and then press the numbers.
The time's up screen was going to appear when DreamTime was off and no custom command was entered. I ended up not implementing it because I couldn't get the text falling animation right, however, reading your comment just gave me the idea to add a toggle to show the "Time's Up" screen, and then do what they have to do, or to just do it correctly. I'll try to do the anim once more to see if I can do it.
concept: war terminal mode, with the thousand march theme and beeping. Pretty self explanatory; instasleep once the time runs out (depends on what settings you use)
The War timer is something that's gonna be implemented in the future (mainly because of Lap 4), but it's gonna take some time, as this project is going to be on hold for a long time.
Something very cool would to make Pizzaface move more like how he does in game, instead of only being able to go up, down, left, and right, or two of each, he would go straight for your cursor in the straightest line possible. Also making an option to have the rank fill your entire screen would be cool. Also the lap 2 flag tends not to go back up off screen correctly or just really slowly
Some amazing people contributed to fix Pizza Face's movement, so it's more like in the game. I've been really busy so it'll take me some time to review the changes made by the community. Will take a look to the Lap 2 flag.
Sorry for the long wait, but the lap 2 flag issue doesn't seem to be happening anymore. But I'm glad Pizzaface's movement got improved! it's such a small but awesome improvement!
Hi. Does Pizza Face not even moves away from the cursor? Does he just stays on the spawn point? The spawn point is always the middle of the screen? If possible, please open an issue on the GitHub repository with as much information of your system that you can bring.
Hello Pixelcraftian! I just want to say that I am a very big fan! I have even made a series of fan games called "Super Mario: The end of bounds" and it's after future mario!
I gotta say, I really tried to see if I could make it, specially with this update, but I wasn't able to do it, so, the best option is to just mute the integrated music and play your custom music separately. Will keep trying!
Yes, that one was the most popular one, so it'll be the one that I'll use. Will probably be a small update only with that change between the next 1-2 weeks.
With ALT + TAB or selecting the Pizza Timer icon from the task bar, you can focus the program and then press ESC or the rank that you want to end the chase.
Once imported the project to Godot, inside of Pizza Timer folder, there's all the sprites you'll need each one in its own folder, however, the next update will include Noise's OST and Ranks.
Did a significant change happened when opening the game the two times? (for example, updating drivers, installing program, etc.)
Try deleting all of Pizza Timer's data from the directory %APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata by deleting the Pizza Timer folder entirely, see if it fixes the issue. If not, please open a bug report on GitHub and upload the latest log (located on %APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\Pizza Timer\logs)
Will add a "compatibility mode", which will add the tower background for devices that can't handle transparency in a later (hopefully not far away) update.
Very neat! Only suggestion is perhaps a CToP variant of the timer, Bye Bye There! And all. Instead of summoning pizzaface when the timer winds down, putting your computer right to sleep if DreamTime is on.
A CToP variant is something that I've been thinking on implementing in a future update, because it's really simple to implement actually, just some tweaks and it's done, so it should be released on the v1.3.
And yes, instead of spawning PizzaFace, it would directly do the action that's supposed to do (DreamTime, Deep Sleeper or Custom Command) like you said, so you can actually make a timer to shut down your computer more easily.
The only thing that I'm not sure how to implement (or if I'm gonna implement at all) is the Bye Bye There! OST, because of how to implement the loop of the song, mainly because the length of the timer can be 3 minutes long, or 4 hours long, the lap 2 and 3, and so on, so maybe It'll just play regular It's Pizza Time!, The Death That I Deservioli, and such.
OpenGL is basically one way your computer renders things. Your computer should have it. Try opening Pizza Timer from the command line (WIN + R, then type CMD), then type the command like this ("Pizza Timer.exe" --rendering-driver opengl3. If your computer is still not able to run Pizza Timer, it is not compatible.
bro i installed this on some unsuspecting kids laptop a ran it for 40 mins they came back to the cheery sight of a 10 minute timer that shut off thier pc after the timer was up

Hello, I liked the idea of the program, but I want a Linux version AppImage
I can provide you a build in any of these formats. Please let me know which one of them you'd like a build of, and I'll submit it ASAP.
(If you can't see the image, builds are:
or if I got the wrong idea, let me know too and exactly what do you need).
arm64
The build is already public.
alright so i have a problem
it uses OpenGL (and my pc sadly doesnt support it)
do you mind trying to make a software version? for those folks whose device is a complete toaster.
Sadly, the project is already at the lowest settings to maximize compatibility. OpenGL3 is the lowest rendering driver that I can use.
what game engine did you use?
Godot 4.X, mostly programmed with C#.
OOOH yeah i see why now. well thank you for taking your time to respond!
No worries, and sorry that you can't enjoy Pizza Timer for now. Hope you can soon!
having to play keep away while finishing those last few lines of code is a mix of hilarious and "OH GOD", i love it, thanks
This is actually amazing

you should make the mouse cursor insted of peppino or the noise do the rank so i would be cooler

Thanks for your reply, I forgot you could do that, but also would make this 100% more accurate to the game!
its not showing up
Do you hear any music at all?
yes but its fixed now
ghost pillar john: he just puts your mouse in the middle of the screen if he touches you
Add Bye Bye There! for the No Pizzaface option
Already implemented. Deactivate Pizza Face

how the heck do I run this on Linux? I'm using Manjaro
Download the Linux Version, UnZip it, and the executable should be there.
It shows me this right as I clicked the PizzaTimer.exe. Do I need to update my video driver?
No image was uploaded, however, on the next update I'll try to make Pizza Timer run on low end devices.

Was not able to replicate or see what's wrong in the code with the Lap 2 flag. Please open an issue on GitHub with a video showing what's happening.
Sorry for the long wait, but the lap 2 flag issue doesn't seem to be happening anymore. But I'm glad Pizzaface's movement got improved! it's such a small but awesome improvement!
Agree! Thanks to the contributions from the community, now it is really an accurate recreation!
i dont really wanna do that
The next update will try to be more flexible with lower end devices.
For "Chrome OS" Linux Terminal Pizza Face does not move, he only spawns in the middle of the screen. (linux build)

Oh no! I'm focused on work now! What have you done!!
(Hope we get the ability to choose custom music for it soon!! :])
Hello Pixelcraftian! I just want to say that I am a very big fan! I have even made a series of fan games called "Super Mario: The end of bounds" and it's after future mario!
Newest game (still not finished) Super Mario The end of bounds 64

it is me again with the noise lap 3 song here ya go! i didnt make this but its public
Yes, that one was the most popular one, so it'll be the one that I'll use. Will probably be a small update only with that change between the next 1-2 weeks.
for some reason when i open the app it just immediately closes without any reason and i can't fix it
What are your computer specs?
What OS are you using?
how do you "focus" to escape pizza face
With ALT + TAB or selecting the Pizza Timer icon from the task bar, you can focus the program and then press ESC or the rank that you want to end the chase.
wheres the textures for it because i wanna mod noise into pizza timer
Once imported the project to Godot, inside of Pizza Timer folder, there's all the sprites you'll need each one in its own folder, however, the next update will include Noise's OST and Ranks.
So how do I make the pizza time objects have a transparent background?
The first time it was transparrent but now its always non tansparent
Did a significant change happened when opening the game the two times? (for example, updating drivers, installing program, etc.)

Ok thank you, I'll give it a try :)
(Just tried it) It did not work, I'll send the bug report.
(Tested) Ok so after I trashed the files in the rycycling bin it worked ok. Hope a future update fixes the problem.
(last edit I swear) Yeah no it just doesn't work after I tested it 3 times.
its transparent for me
im having the same problem, i cant find anything that will work
Will add a "compatibility mode", which will add the tower background for devices that can't handle transparency in a later (hopefully not far away) update.
i managed to draw pizzaface on lap 3
noise update came out
You should update NOW!
Actually, working on a "Noise Update" of my own.
Noise's OST and Rank screens on the next update or two.
nice
whats new?

when 1.3?
1.2 literally just came out

what is OpenGL3? can you send me the link to it?

im using an ASUS computer, what is this app compatible with?
The brand of the computer is irrelevant (unless it's a Mac). The only thing that's relevant are the specs of your computer and your graphics drivers.
how do i know what are my computer specs and my graphic drivers? what is (are) the appropriate driver(s) for this application?
i cant even use it cuz of my stupid driver/pc specs
What are the specs of your computer? Does the game open if you start it with OpenGL3?
i dont even know what OpenGL3 is
i just beat a tower defense game on lap 3
crumbling tower
idea!!! the crumbling tower of pizza timer!!!
This is awesome. Just what I needed. Also Lap 3 is a great addition lmfao, might try to do dumb stuff while avoiding him. (Like playing FNAF)
Osu but Pizza Face is chasing me
it would be funny if there was an option to turn the timer into the WAR timer
Will probably be added on v2.0
btw what did the new update add?
Here are all the changes in the new update:https://manuecheveste.itch.io/pizza-timer/devlog/677160/pizza-timer-11
fair im scared of viruses cause my pc insurance is expired
your safe it did not destroy my pc
This is the best character development I've seen in a long time
bro i installed this on some unsuspecting kids laptop a ran it for 40 mins they came back to the cheery sight of a 10 minute timer that shut off thier pc after the timer was up
Please only install Pizza Timer in your own devices.
fine it was just a harmless prank dreamtime was off
